ROOS is a fresh, young company looking back on 35 years of history

By setting up strategic co-operations with innovative special manufacturers, founder-son Christian Roos under the name of ROOS extended the portfolio of „Siebdruck Roos GmbH“, a screen printing company created by his parents in 1975. Today ROOS offers highly modern electronic components and circuits in addition to the master business. In connection with the experience in technical screen printing, today even complete custom-made input systems are being developed.

Our biggest asset: the employees

25 well-trained employees are working in a steady job at the company headquarters in Augsburg, Bavaria. Their high motivation shows over and over again in new ideas and innovations they contribute to the work flow. Our employees are our biggest asset. Therefore it is natural for us to constantly push forward their further training.

We are constantly checking ourselves

We are flexible, highly efficient, working on a high quality level and we strictly pursue the direction of our customers' and the market's needs. The quality of our products is constantly being monitored and improved by our internal quality assurance. As soon as 1998 our company was certified according to DIN ISO 9001:1994.

In the meantime this integrated management system was revised and extended: In 2010 the company got the certifications ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001:2009 environment-audit. The innovations basically refer to improving client- and employee-orientation and workflow-processing.

How it all began

Today‘s ROOS company goes back to „Siebdruck Roos“ (Roos screen printing) founded in 1975. Peter and Anna Roos manufactured high quality print products in their operation in the village of Rehling in the Augsburg outskirts. Strongly increasing demand lead to a re-location into a bigger shed in 1980. Due to strict environmental conditions the establishment could not grow further at its original place and thus in 1988 moved to its current location in Augsburg‘s Lechhausen industrial area. In 1991 the company was legally transformed and became the Siebdruck Roos GmbH.

The screen printing specialist‘s portfolio stretches from membrane key pads and front panels to circuits, touchscreens, mouse-pads, transfer-printing, stickers, chip-cards, file envelopes, banners and signs.
